I ever read and hear about Animation and Javascript will kill your SEO. Is this true? I don’t really sure about that. That’s why I animate this Busby SEO Test Sidebar and add the roll and fade effects.
I will tell you, that sidebar rocks guys. It’s very lightweight, It’s not like the usual animation effects that eat so much bandwidth. It’s only use no more than 10KB of your bandwidth because I made it using the moo.fx combined with the prototype lite javascript. Note that it’s not the 100KB Prototype JS, but it’s the truncated 3KB version that come with the moo.fx pack.
Let’s look and see, will google penalized me because of my effects?

I think it is safe to say that having JavaScript animations would not get your site penalized by Google. Take my site for example, I am making use of AJAX and JavaScript effects through MooTools, but I have not seen a decline in users reaching to my blog through search engines and my page rank has not decreased for that matter.
